A sculpture in white marble depicting a young Queen Victoria seated on her throne. Standing either side of her are two female figures. Behind the three figures is an elaborate carved arch with a golden gilt interior. Queen Victoria and the two figures beside her are larger than life size. Queen Victoria is dressed in flowing robes, and wears a crown. She holds a sceptre in her left hand, with her right hand resting on the arm of her throne and holding a wreath of laurel. The throne is lifted high upon a plinth, which is itself decorated with low-recief carvings of 3 classical figures. The figure to the right of the Queen is holding a sword in her right hand, and a scale in her left hand. The figure to her left is also holding a sword in her left hand, and a small posy in her right.
