Statue of a king riding a horse in bronze on a large stone plinth with bronze plaques on the side shown from the front right. The figure sits astride the horse and holds a sword in his right hand aloft. He has a full beard and is wearing a helmet with a crown and full chainmail suit covered with a fabric effect tunic, belt and decorative loose belt. He is sitting on an upholstered saddle with his feet in stirrups on straps. The horse is depicted with its head lowered, front left leg fully raised and back right leg bent on the rectangular bronze base. The plinth has a bronze rectangular low relief scene on the long edge and the title on the short side. The sculpture is pictured in a courtyard in front of the Palace of Westminster.
