A cream plaster relief of a heraldic arms. The coat of arms has a lion passant, or a walking lion with a paw raised, in the lower half and a ship at sea in the upper half. Above is a medieval closed helmet which is topped with an arm brandishing a sword. Mantling, or flowing drapery, is attached to the helmet. The Motto reads 'Vincit amor patriae'. Below the coat of arms reads 'Iohannis Fred : Laoghaire Ibh Laoghaire . COM : CORCAGIAE HIBERNIA'. The artist's signature is carved into the bottom left of the relief.
