Preparation drawing for the design of mosaics in the Palace of Westminster. Three figures in yellow and white draped clothing stand in a pointed arch and are separated by two trees. The central figure is crowned with a halo and looks out to the viewer, holding an open scroll. Above them, an orange sun shines with a diagonal black cross through it. Below them, three figures draped in white and pink are kneeling. The two on the right hold their hands in prayer and look to the third figure on the left, who is holding open a black and white box. The arch is decorated with painted dots and frames the composition.
