A thin brown stem cuts across the image below and turns into a long, silvery-blue leaf, dividing the composition so that the brown and reddish background colours are transformed to different tones of blue. Long, thin, red and pale greeny-yellow grass stems up from the right side of the image and behind them can be seen the head of a pheasant painted in red and black with a pale green beak. Its long stripy, brown tail pokes out from red and light green foliage below. To the left are long, yellow leaves which look like they are from a walnut or a Rowan tree and brown lines going upwards on a blue background that look like the branches of a leafless tree. Underneath is painted a brown silhouette of a rabbit sitting above long, slim, light blue leaves which cut the composition horizontally, announcing a dark blue background until the bottom of the image. Light, green sycamore leaves move across the image from right to left and below them, the sinuous outline of a brown and red striped snake lurks behind more foliage. In front of the snake, light green foliage resembling that of a wisteria tree rise from above from a fern, with curled leaves stretching across the image, painted in yellows, light greens and light blues. The fern is growing directly out of brown and red soil and below it, to the left are round spotted mushrooms and orange leaves to the right.
