- Description
- Small scale replica of the Great Clock pendulum, made up of black cylinderical weight attached to a length of silver metal rod. The weight has brass fixtures on top and bottom with a screw protuding from the bottom end. At the other end of the metal rod there are further brass fittings, presumably to hold the pendulum in place.
Previously part of the display of the gravity escapement (AFC 005022). Display case is AFC 004957. - Materials
